Cringeworthy episodes

I LOVE AD! But certain episodes I just didn't enjoy. One of them was the one w/ Stan's satanic best friend. I didn't like how Stan wanted to put his religion on his friend. This is just my opinion though. What are your least fave eps of AD and why?

American Fung, the "Chinese" episode from last season, really missed the mark for me. I also kind of hate "Hot Water", because of the fact that it randomly kills off Stan at the end, and also because it just isn't very funny. I would say "Blonde Ambition" is probably my least favorite episode overall though... Once again, very few laughs and the central storyline was lame and utterly forgettable. I also dislike the "Naughty Stewardess" episode... The humor feels sort of labored. Apart from that, I can watch just about any episode of the series and enjoy it.

It's completely changed since it moved to that other channel....it's garbage, it's made by 9 year olds....havent u noticed ????? I watched like 3 eps and canned it....

Oh what a day. What a lovely day!

Hot Water was terrible. Completely anti-American Dad.

American fung wasn't gr8. I agree with you. Also the other day i said to my bf "put it on any American Dad episode but naughty stewardess." i heard hot tub episode was going to be the series finale. That would-be sucked off they ended the series with that episode.

This week wasn't the worst episode, but it was cringeworthy at points for sure. A really phoned in A story and they didn't go far enough with the B plot of Ocean Land.

Krampus
American Fung
Hot Tub episode

Those were the worst I've seen so far.

The blonde one was pretty bad. Honestly, I'm not sure I've seen a Hayley-centric episode that is that good. They're usually pretty bad. I wouldn't say terrible, though. The three I listed are episodes I just can't watch again. Those are terrible.

The Stan Siezure episodes was also really bad, but I can still give that one a rewatch. Really, I can rewatch any episode of American Dad, but those three listed I cannot.

The Hot Tub one and any with Reginald.

Droid please.

Yep to all of these.

Also any with singing. That goes for Family Guy, too. Hate cartoon singing. ESPECIALLY Steve's boy band singing.

Almost all the cringe-worthy crappy episodes are in the later seasons. Too bad, I used to really love this show. At one time even more than Family Guy. I loved the episodes where future Stan comes back and falls in love with Francine and the one where Stan fences in the "terrorists" in his backyard.

I completely agree about both, especially the koala. One of the worst animated characters ever.

reply

Anything with a Jeff focus/major role.

reply

I would agree, except the one where Jeff's dad is trying to frame him for the pot bust. Funniest. Episode. Ever. One of my favorites. I liked Jeff in that episode. Stan pondering the cheetos made me laugh out loud. Roger and Stan high as kites had me doubled over.

"Well, make something up!" (RG)

The second episode of the Noah's Ark 2-parter had me cringing all the way through. Most of the jokes were embarrassingly unfunny, especially the narrator jokes on 'Flute Island'.

The Hot Tub episode was also a cringe inducing episode.

What if you're wrong about the great Juju at the bottom of the sea?

All moments with the koala and 95% of the content with Jeff are cringeworthy. HATE those two characters. Don't like Barry either. Any character that can't help pissing and *beep* on himself is terrible. Hot Water is poor. Krampus is poor. Stan's Best Friend is terrible and terribly upsetting. Seriously, who can watch that episode and not want to cry for that poor, fake, animated dog?

reply

I throughly enjoy Barry but I can agree to some extent with Reggie and Jeff. Stan's Best Friend is a good episode in my eyes. I don't really care if it's sad or whatever. It's still well crafted.
