I normally watch dvds with the subtitles on and I noticed that there are certain lines of dialogue that cannot be heard even though they appear in the subtitles.
Most of the time it is a character calling from the background.
Anyone else notice this with this dvd?
Or is it my tv?
The same thing would occasionally happen with Family Guy broadcasts on adult swim. The off screen voices wouldn't be heard so it has something to do with how the audio is being broadcast through the TV.
I've never experienced it with a DVD though but then again, I've never bought any of the MOD sets from Amazon but that could be the reason itself. Since they're being produced by Amazon's CreateSpace & not proper FOX Home Entertainment sets they could have glitches.
Actually I just solved it. I realised I had to turn on 'Virtual Surround' with my DVD remote.

The set is definitely "dispatched from & sold by Amazon" so it must be an import, but anyway... no matter, you got it figured out, that's what counts.
