Klaus being the 'Meg' of AD

I hate it. Why have they degraded his character to practically nothing?

I've never fooled anyone. I've let people fool themselves.

Usually he was a background character. Like when he was providing the DVD commentary of everyone's lives!

if anything, that trait has been downplayed recently. Klaus is getting a lot more to do lately, and a lesser portion of the jokes involving him are at his expense.

You must not be watching the current season if you think Klaus is playing the patsy like he was in previous seasons. Klaus's character is far from what you described this season. They have really amplified the character, giving him more airtime, making him more vocal and making him a lot more aggressive. He's funnier but Roger is still bar none my favorite character then it's hard to decide between Steve, Francine and Stan as I like them all so much. The show has been gold this season.

I love American Dad too.

I was thinking about the similarities between AD & FG. There's more than a few. There's talking animals, speaking of Klaus. But I'd say Hailey is the Meg of AD. They're both the "nicest" characters in each family. While Klaus doesn't get much respect. Hailey doesn't get much more. Have you noticed both sets of parents treat their daughter almost exactly the same? The mother/daughter relationships are extremely similar and passive-aggressive.

You gotta admit Klaus has come along way since the first season. It can't be easy to incorporate a talking fish into the storyline of a cartoon that stars a "pansexual" alien. ;9)B

well id say francine is a million times better at being a mom than lois.

The more personalities you have the less boring you are!

True lois on Family guy is the only main character that I never cared for. Everybody is fine. FG needs to step up and replace Lois with somebody else.
