me too

Negative reviews or ruining the "magic" of this one probably scared them off.

Considering they made about 6 children of the corn movies you'd think one more of these

reply

They made more than 6 Children of the Corn movies.

reply

I agree.
I just rewatched this and its actually quite good and has held up really well, the effects were great and it was really gory and creepy. Would have liked to have seen a sequel.

reply

Totally agree but only as long as Collet-Serra will direct it.

This movie goes both ways for me in terms of a sequel. I like it as a stand alone movie, but would have liked to learn more abouf the brothers growing up or see Nick and Carly return to face off against that last brother.

reply

I always thought a prequel would be awesome! Finding out more about how the brothers got started on the town and everything!

The thing is where do they go in terms of a sequel since the whole House of Wax literally burned down.

reply

Prequel only really. Despite being creepy, Bo and Vincent's brother seems harmless so I doubt he'd carry on their "legacy".

reply

But does he really? I mean if they (Carly and Wade) were to stay in his car until they got to Ambrose maybe he would have acted differently. We all probably think he was the good guy who wanted to help them out to find the fan belt in a way so that Bo and Vincent couldn't get them. But what if he's character was actually suppose to bring the victims to Bo? That would make his character just as bad as the brothers. So depending on how you look at his character's arc I think the sequel would make sense.

'You're saying that that's a real person...underneath?'

Yeah.
