Who does the father end up with?

I was just wondering if the father ended up with Nanny McPhee? I haven't seen it yet.

reply

reply

Evangeline

reply

Yes, I just watched it today and as soon as I saw the person I knew he'd end up with her.
I almost wished he did end up, but then that would have been like Bert hooking up with Mary Poppins. Right?

reply

yes when evangaline gives him a loving look after he falls down the stairs, i had a feeling...

How about the Bureau of Magic and Spellcasting?

reply

why don't you just watch it and find out?

no he doesn't marry nanny M!

1. Angiehooks, you have no reason to get all defensive and psycho on everyone in this forum. You really should have just seen the movie and found out yourself.

2. He ends up with **SPOILER** Evangeline.

3. You figure out that he ends up with Evangeline at the beginning of the movie. You can just tell, it is sooo predictable.

4. I WOULD JUST LIKE TO MAKE THE POINT THAT YOU SHOULD WATCH A MOVIE YOURSELF AND NOT ASK IDIOTIC QUESTIONS IN A FORUM FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE ACTUALLY SEEN THE MOVIE.

reply

It is not customary to reveal the end of the movie to those who have not yet seen the movie.

reply

Hmmmm.......riiight!

reply

Yes, it is customary to reveal the end of a movie when some idiot asks you to, to not answer would be rude. Your nose is stuck up the wrong end of the donkey dont you think. Gripe at the original poster for asking .

reply

He ends up with Evangeline. Even though the two actors are 16 years apart in age, they looked good together. And it's those types of unions that often work out best in real life...

reply

Work out in real life? Give me a break, this is a children's FICTIONAL film.

And OP, if you had watched the movie, you'd know who he ends up with. Either that or you're just plain stupid. And if you haven't watched the movie, then GO WATCH IT instead of asking people to reveal the ending on the forum.

reply

It's pretty easy to tell within the first 1/4 of the movie.

reply

I really have to say to most of you guys, that you are acting very childish.
angiehooks just asked a question. if people have problems with it, they should just stay out of this topic. it's not fair to attack someone like that.
but the same counts for angiehooks.
And don't go all ballastic on me now. I'm just saying it the way it is.

reply

Wow...I really didn't realize I went ballastic on you people. I had just been really busy and never got around (at that time) to watch the movie but was interested in finding out about it...I have since then watched it. I thought that these message boards (and I'm not saying this in a mean way) were a way for people to talk about movies. All any of you who answered my question had to do (to keep from ruining it for someone else) was to put SPOILERS before you answered the question.

I apologize if I came off as rude or if it seemed like I went ballistic on someone. I just asked a question about a movie. I didn't realize it would make so many of you angry.

This post isn't directed at you leonie witch...you just happened to be the last to post, so that's why I'm posting this after yours.

The father is irrelevant.

The movie begins with a family in turmoil, because the only parent available is the father. As men are incapable of leading a family, a woman known as Nanny McPhee is called in. A subplot then develops as to which woman the father will end up with. It is , of course, a given that he will end up with one of them, because as we have been clearly shown fathers are incapable of heading a family without a woman.

Who does the father end up with? Who cares? As long as there is a woman in the picture and the family is not dependent on that stupid, incompetent, irrelevant father.
