Cleary? Kennedy?
Did anyone else get the vibe while watching the movie that the Cleary's might be inspired by the Kennedy's? Especially when the mother of the bride says "We've been married for 30 years and faithful for 2"
shareIf that priest was supposed to be Catholic, then you raise a very good point. Most of these really wealthy political families are either Anglicans or Dutch Reformed.
Also, the fact that they were "boating" people leads me to think they were Kennedy-based as well.
Funny. Why was this film set in DC and not in Boston then.
I like that Cleary/Kennedy connection! It makes sense, I can't believe I didn't catch on earlier :)
