Watching the scene, Rachel McAdams seemed to be genuinely laughing, and I was wondering if anyone else thought that this might have originally been unscripted, but kept in the movie because it worked so well?
You know, I've wondered about that for a few years now. But I don't think it was unscripted.i think Rachel is just such a great actress she made it seem realistic. A similar thing happens with her in The Notebook when she and Ryan Gosling are about to make love for the first time in the old house. She keeps popping up and talking because she's supposed to be nervous, and I swear, she really seems like it. This also happens in Red Eye with her and Cillian Murphy.
She's just that good.
