I had no clue he would be in it when I saw it in theaters for the first time, and was shocked when he walked on screen as Chazz. Today in the age of Twitter/Facebook though I'm sure I would have been spoiled.

I didnt know until I saw it at the theaters, and everyone in the theater seemed surprised too, they all cheered. It was great. Wondering all movie who this Chaz guy was LOL

L knew there was going to be a surprise appearance by a big star toward the end of the film, but which star was a well-kept secret.

It certainly works a lot better if you don't know he's in it (although that's a lot easier when it's first released vs. 10 years later). If you know a big star is in it, you are waiting around thinking, when is Will showing up? and it can be distracting.
