Who played the older cop, the one from the original murder. He looks very familiar, but I don't see him listed in the episode's cast.
I have noticed lately that quite a few small part characters are not listed. :(

I watched half of this episode two days ago n remembered seeing a familiar name as a guest.
Watching this second half I hada imdb him to find out what the guys name was again.
The only thing I know the name lee majors from? Scrooged. Best Xmas movie ever.
Don't feel bad. I recognize faces or names but can't always get both even of they're stuck somewhere in my subconscious. Anyone who knows every actor from before they added sound to films either is in the industry or has no friends!

Get over yourself. There is absolutely nothing wrong with not being able to place someones face. I find it hard to recognise people in my real life sometimes never mind remember a face which was 40 years younger on a TV show I might have watched once. Yeah sure, in this case I recognised who it was, but never be stupid or nieve to think that those "famous" actors whom you recognise are "it". I'm sure there are many actors who would be just as obvious to some people whom you would not recognise.
So I say again, get over yourself.
