End of Season 5, Beginning of Season 6 Continuity

I have been catching up on the series in order and am on the third episode of Season 6 right now. Having watched the seasons so close together is probably the only reason I noticed this, but it's bugging me. In the first episode of season 6, Danny refers to it having been a month with no movement in his legs. I would assume that means a month since the bar shooting and Angell's death at the end of season 5. By the third episode of season 6, he says Lucy is already standing in her crib and he wants to stand as well; Lindsay says she hopes he's not competing with their 10-month-old daughter.

Now, we know Angell died in May of '09, as indicated by the headline on the Ledger, Robert Dunbrook's newspaper in the season 5 finale, and we know Lucy was born just a couple of episodes before Angell's death, sometime in April maybe. I guess that reference to Lucy being ten moths old would be a major continuity goof then, right? I noticed it also when Angell's dad invites Flack for dinner in episode 6x03, saying it would have been her birthday. Again from the Ledger headline upon her death, I believe she was born in Feb. of '81. So, in three episodes of season 6 they went from approx. June to Feb., which would indeed make Lucy about ten months old?

What are your thoughts/did anyone else notice this? I don't mean to be fussy or too critical, but this seems like a glaring error, and when I love a show, like I do this one, it gets to me. Thanks for any responses.

I didn't really notice it actually but continuity isn't their strong suit. I think most if not all shows have that issue.
