Anyone notice that Jo does not test things as much as the other CSIS?

I have been watching a lot of episodes last season and this season and I noticed that Jo does not test as much as the others. Mac will test something from time to time and use the lab equipment but Jo does not seem to really test anything. Like she will look in a microscope and even collect evidence at the scene but you see Adam, Lindsay, Hawkes,and Danny testing the evidence in the lab.

I believe her specialty is more psychology than forensics..i think she was an FBI profiler.

I believe its in her contract.
