So I thought this was one of the best episodes in a while. Not just because of case with the missing boy, which I thought was played out well, but also the individual storylines with Flack and Sam/Mac and Christine/Mac and Jo.

Just one question though, when did Flack's dad die? Because when Sam first came into the show all them seasons ago for borrowing a car off a suspect in a murder case, or whatever it was, I remember Flack saying this wasn't something him or their dad could have gotten Sam out of. So we was aware at that point they had a father who was a cop and was very much still alive.

Have I just forgot something? Have we previously been told their dad passed away? Or are we just meant to assume it was within the last few years? Also, is their mum still alive or? Found it a bit odd that they went to the grandma's house and not their mother's, not that there's anything wrong with that but would have liked to see their mother as well as their father.
