Spread his ashes or just run around the field with them one last time...

and it was not the same Yankee stadium they went t as kids..but I guess it is the thought and memories that matters

I got the sense that he wanted them to run around with him, to relive a day that meant a lot to him.

Yeah. But it seemed like he favored Flack a bit more than Sam, even though it was just one scene.
