Did the writer's know they were copying each other. As soon as Mac said no striations on the bullet, I immediately thought printed gun because of the other show a few weeks ago.

I wasn't sure anymore, thanks !
Since writers pools craft their shows in complete secrecy and are obviously tech saavy and following the news, it was bound to happen.
