The one part I didn't like is that when they cut to the video room, Mac seemed to indicate that they were going to go after both guys equally for the cop's murder.
While the first guy was a scumbag and was involved, it wasn't directly his fault. He had insisted that they not use guns and came up with a plot to rob the guy without killing him. It was the other psycho that shot him three times.
Yes, the first guy should pay, but I don't think he deserves the same level of punishment as the other guy. I get the impression that Mac wanted to be especially tough on him because it was a cop who died and that if it had been just an average person, he might have tried to help the guy somewhat.
I know it's realistic, but I find it sickening the way the normal rules and considerations go out the window when it's a cop who gets killed.
