Probably will be May like they always do and most networks decides that.
They should have told NY that season 9 would be the last but they didn't so I bet no loose ends would be tied in the finale.

i hope-pray- that they at least have the show have 200 episodes
even if they make the 200th episode info a 2 hr movie finale

Isn't there a rumor that CSI NY may do what HOMICIDE did? That is, tie up loose ends with a final two-hour movie and that would be that (Of course, people are STILL arguing about the last HOMCIDE episode, so you never know.)

I have not heard that and I have no idea if CBS would even be willing to do that. Hell, they don't even care to give shows the heads up if it's the last season until after it's over.

Yeah but it might depend on how 'Golden Boy' does even though it will start Friday but had the premiere on Tuesday.
But I do feel bad for the actors and actresses who have had to go find other jobs, except for Gary Sinise. He really doesn't need an acting job. LOL But I do hope he continues acting though if NY is cancelled.
