It's Official Canceled By CBS!

Read so via The Hollywood Reporter (THR) along with Vegas, Golden Boy,
& Rules Of Engagement. I do believe that the show's cancellation
after nine seasons was a cost cutting measure in light of the
previous cancellation of CSI: Miami last year. So now the original
CSI remains the as the lone program of the franchise which ironically
is the original show which inspired the two spinoff shows. I did
watch Vegas and Golden Boy and never got into those shows. Not
impressed though Rules Of Engagement was quite funny to watch.

The vote is in - save "CSI: New York"!

Each year some of your favorite must-see shows end up on the network chopping block in danger of not being renewed. For the 16th year in a row, USA Today polled fans in the "Save Our Shows" survey to see which television show viewers really want to see return to their small screens next season. CBS show 'CSI: New York' won with 38% of the vote followed by ABC's "Body of Proof" with 34%.

Do not bother as most petitions to save canceled tv shows are
highly ineffective. CBS made its decision and its final.
Well at least we can watch original CSI!

Today is a sad day, although I cannot say I am surprised. It had a good 9 year run.

I am too disappointed and sad to hear this news. I LOVE this show. It reminds me of home, even though I know it is filmed in LA.

Farewell, and may the blessing of Elves and Men and all Free Folk go with you.
