Was it ever resolved? Did he ever tell Lindsay. I used to watch this show religiously and just lost interest a few years ago. I guess about the time that Stella left.

No, I don't think he ever did come clean to Lindsay. This is one of those plots where it got dropped quickly and then other plots got dropped quickly.

Yeah, he never told her but he does say in one of the episodes that he thought she had figured out something was up in that department.... I think it was the episode where he finds out she's pregnant and it talking to the parents of the pregnant victim.
I love Stella as a character, but when she left and brought on Jo I loved the show even more! Jo brought warmth and humor and a whole new dynamic to the cast! You should definitely give the show post Stella a chance! You won't be disappointed!
