A Question About Danny and Lindsey

Spoiler Alert just to be safe!

Um...okay, so I just started watching and have become obsessed with this show. I love the stories and the characters. For reference, I am on Season 4 now. I instantly started "shipping" Danny and Lindsey. A while ago (I don't know how many episodes back) they slept together at his apartment and he covered for her at work and all that stuff went down with the Irish gang or whatever. Okay, so they slept together, but since then they've had little to no interaction what so ever. They used to partner up on cases and they haven't worked together in awhile on a case and do their own separate things. Are they together by this point though? I know they slept together and I know they get together in the future thanks to spoilers I've seen, but I just wonder what's up now. Its like their romance is in limbo and I don't get it. I love the writing in this show but it seems kind of sloppy to have two characters sleep together and then have no interaction or much interaction after the fact. If I missed something, please let me know.

Also they used to banter and flirt a lot and now it just seems to have stopped and they seem very "dry" around each other now. I just don't get it. Did I miss something?

After Reuben died in 4.11 Danny Started to pull away from Lindsay and even slept with Reubens mom. His actions hurt Lindsay. Thankfully he finally got his *beep* together and realized how good he had it with Lindsay. But Reubens death really did a number on him and sent Danny to the dark place for a while.
