A common confusion in these High School as an Independent Society type films is how this much activity and power can be amassed in a 4-year, gradual period.

Grease is an early example, but its implied several times that most of the characters have simply been held back and I guess things worked differently before NCLB, anyway...

Kara's character was an odd one because Brendan implies a period of time longer than the maximum 3-years one could do anything to freshmen while not being one herself. So is she a teacher? The drama teacher at my high school wasn't nearly that hot and didn't use nearly as many slaves...
