Anyone else thrown off slightly by the absence of profanity?

If I remember correctly, there's hardly any profanity in this movie, if any at all. Does anyone know why the screenwriter/director went this route?

reply

Because it wasn't needed.

I didn't even notice. Not that I have a problem with profanity but it goes to show that it's not really needed.

Back off! ... Way off!

Yes yes I did. I thought it was quite impressive.

I didn't notice until Brendan said "Just shooting the shat" instead of "sh*t."

Another thing is that with the story revolving around a package of drugs, they never tell what the drug is. They also never show anyone using the drug, even smoking is shown only like 3 times and drinking only once. This movie was excellent.

Never noticed that - perhaps in part due to all that strange slang so abundantly used... Suckers got away with it!
