Kara and boys under the desk

With Kara how come there were always boys under her makeup table while she was sitting there or under her seat when she was sitting in the seat in the theatre? Was this a sexual thing or some weird slave thing?

It was both a sexual and slave thing. She was a dominant personality and enjoyed using boys (Kara to Brendan: "If you're ever looking to get back into things, I could use you"). The Brain also described her as "evil".

When there were boys at her feet in the theater or in her dressing room, I doubt they were doing sexual things right then and there, but she just enjoyed having them at her every beckon-call. A few times throughout the movie, she's seen ordering whatever boys were around her to get her belongings for her (namely her purse) and she just got off on treating them as slaves.

I was wondering the same thing, because if they were pleasuring her, she didn't seem very pleased, unless, she had such a dominant personality that it took a a lot to pleasure her. I liked how she ran away from the protagonist and tripped, funny. Megan Good was a great choice, she's sexy and she played the role well as a domineering woman.

I agree; and it was amusing how she was in a different full-on costume every time Brendan went to see her, even though no real production seemed to be happening at the time, just rehearsals with everyone in their street clothes.

Yeah, I thought Meagan Good was really good as well in the role. They were definetely doing sexual things to her under the table and obviously Brendan at one point did this with her.

Kara was a nympho and needed cunnilingus performed on her at least eight hours per day. If not, she tended to get moody and depressed.

In her first scene I think it was definitely a sexual act.
When she's in the dressing room toward the end, the boy comes up from an angle that seems weird if he was going down on her.

So I think basically they wait at her feet for her next command.
