Question about Emily/Pin
I have a lot of tiny questions about this movie, but the biggest one is why did/would The Pin care about Emily? Did I miss something? From what I gather, Emily wanted to join the Pin's crowd, and was either rebuffed, or had only been a minor part of the group for a very short time.
Yet, Tug kills Dode when he thinks the Pin is about to find out, while Dode seems to think it's very valuable to tell the Pin that "someone close" killed Emily. But why would the Pin care at all? I don't think Emily was a love interest of the Pin's. Again, she only recently met him, plus Laura says Emily was basically a tramp, sleeping around with everyone.
Plus, Tug obviously is willing to kill Dode in front of The Pin and is on the brink of leaving the partnership anyways, so it makes no sense to me why it's so important for him to cover up the act of murder. He specifically doesn't want The Pin to know he killed Emily.
I just can't figure out why.
