Most dangerous stunt?
I'd have to say either the Eel thing, or Steve-o pulling the lion's tail
shareI'd have to say either the Eel thing, or Steve-o pulling the lion's tail
shareI think it was on one of the last episodes when they were in the hammock swinging over the tigers. Or was it lions? Whatever...huge mean cats with giant claws and very sharp teeth were pacing below and they fall out! OMG They looked terrified. They are totally nuts and I wouldn't be at all surprised if one of them gets seriously injured during one of the stunts. I just hope they don't! I love these boyz!!!
shareIm convinced theyre immortal. And I think I know what your talking about, they were in a hammock and put meat on the bottom of it for the lions
There are things known, and things unknown. Inbetween are the doors of perception
What I think is scary is that people actually believe that they were really hanging over lions.
It's all fake.
I mean them falling off a skateboard or hitting each other or something juvenile like that is real but the lion stunt...uhh no, that wasn't at all real.
[deleted]
LOL!!! How was that fake? I know some of the segments are set-up, like when they just happen across an animal. They aren't even trying to hide that, which is evident in the sarcastic tone of their voices. And although it is all planned with animal experts on hand, the animals are still wild and unpredictable and the boys are taking somewhat of a risk. But when they fell off that hammock, there was real fear in their eyes. Of course the situation was set-up, but they didn't plan to fall off.
shareDid you know those were fake lions trying to tear they're heads off? it was all CGI...
I can't believe someone could even think that was fake. Viva la bam is fake. The Wildboyz are 100% real. All wild animals are unpredicatable and could have went after chris or steve-o at any moment. thank god, they didn't
How can Viva La Bam be fake? You think they would use CGI to put Vito's car up into a tree?

I never meant the stunts were fake. Everything has too be planned, the Camera men need too know when they are pulling of a skit. MTV needs too know when they are going too bazil or europe. Nothing is random... maybe some stunts are , but very few. They are actors, pretending like everything is random and in the moment. Impossible

I think some of their stuff is done in enclosures and zoo's (other than the ones that obviously are, like the cheetahs or the moose).
Such as the one where Johnny and Chris go hunting for the "Florida Panther", at one stage you can see the fence of the animal's pen and the cat itself is far from wild.
The Tasmanian Devil part would aso be in a pen, because there's no way they'd be able to stand there while they are feeding in the wild.
But they are two of the few, this show is pretty much all real and definately all awesome.
"Are you guys American?"
"No bloody fear! We're Aussies!"
Even trained zoo and circus animals turn on their trainers from time to time.
The number of animal bites and scratches they got, it's amazing they didn't pick up some bizarre tropical disease or parasite. (There's still bugs out there with no known cure, because tropical diseases aren't as profitable as finding cures for baldness or impotence.)
You are very correct. A LOT of Viva La Bam is fake. I know most of these shows have a script to go buy, but no other show out of the ones mentioned is as scripted as Viva La Bam. They have used several CGI effects for that show, it's hard to watch that crap.
None of the animals in Wildboyz were CGI. For those who think they are, you need to stay tuned to MTV and never watch anything else.
After the first season or so Viva La Bam became almost completly fake. You can tell that most of the stuff is planned. Notic ethat everything seems to work perfectly(i.e cannon ball in casino, pirate ship cannon ball in bar. Anyway, wildboyz oviously does some planning before hand but they dont try to hide it.
shareYou've got to be taking the piss? How can it be 'fake' with wild, often venomous/deadly, animals???
Are the animals given dressing rooms and little scripts to stick to?
Are the animals choreographed for the stunts?
Do they re-do a shot if the big *beep* KING COBRA or SHARK doesnt hold his pose at the camera for long enough?
Crikey.
Wrestling could be labeled fake, i'll give you that. But thats all i'm giving you.
IDIOT.
Dumb people are usually naive and believe everything, but ignorant folks are equally as dumb and choose not to believe anything because they lack common sense and intelligence to distinguish whats plausible and what is just impossible.
I don't know if the stunt was real or not, but it certainly was plausible. The thing that pisses me off is those people who feel they are smart by calling anything fake with no proof or enough knowledge to make such a claim. They feel they are superior because they think they weren't fool, the funny thing is that you fool yourself when you call something fake and it turns out to be real.
I think you were too busy coming up with different labels for people to make any sense there.
shareI think they mostly use tame animals that are not too agressive... Or else it would be way too much dangerous. Also, I don't say that they do it, but they could use tranquilizers on animals before performances. Supposedly they do this in circuses.
shareHow about when Chris pets the black jaguar in Costa Rica? Man he looked scared.
shareI think the craziest was the Beaded Lizard stunt in the new season. Or when they ran in the zebra herd when the lions were around.
shareI have to agree with that jaguar stunt being the most dangerous. We all know that Steve-O is the craziest out of the Wildboyz, but he had an increduloud look on his face when he realized Chris was actually petting the jaguar.
If Steve-O is hesitant to do something, then you know it is incredibly dangerous, lol.
How about the giant scratching post, Chris could have been serious hurt if that Lioness wasn't distracted by his mask.
there's a monster down here! I think it was 2 ninjas taped together to make one big ninja!
I was thinking maybe there was something like catnip in the head. they do have experts there, and its still dangerous, but he probably had something to make it so he would at least expect to live!
shareI think either the lion thing or when they put honey and marshmallows on steve-o and a bear came up and ate it. I realise that they will have safety measures in place, and that you can predict how an animal will behave and how you should. However animals can always be unpredictable, even domesticated ones snap sometimes. So even with all the safety procedures if the bear had just all of a sudden decided to take a bite out of face what could they do? I mean it was so close anyway that by the time they did anything he would already have been bitten.
share[deleted]
What about the time they let a elephent stand on his o|o
He could have been seriousley hurt (Not) They are like 'imortal'
[deleted]
2 of them. Steve-O mouth-feeding the diseased looking rats in the Hindu temple and Pontius being jumped by a tiger while dressed like a giant cat scratching post.
shareChris, letting the elephant put its feet on his groin. One wrong move and it would have been ugly. And, the one where they were dangling their feet over the snake pit. Full of poisonous snakes? No way I would have done that!!!
shareok you're all stupid these guys are clearly wall hacking.

I would say messing around with that giant silverback gorilla (with a baby gorilla present) or Manny pulling the lion's tail. The jaguar segment you all talk of was in a zoo enclosure... hence the cat was used to humans... hardly as dangerous as it could potentially be.
shareI think the most dangerous stunt was in one of the first episodes where they jump off the boat off South Africa with white sharks around. They were swimming among seals, the shark's primary food, at sunset when sharks are most active. They also had on wetsuits making them look exactly like seals. If you remember their seal dummy got attacked right after they got back in the boat. Later, they actually jumped off the boat when a 12 to 16 foot white shark was right there (pretty sure it wasn't fake because you can actually see the shark, and that would have been some expensive CGI to pull that off).
The reason I think this is the most dangerous is because there are the least amount of control measures you can put into place. Lions can be fed prior to shooting the segment. Jaguars can be fed or drugged in their enclosures. Silverback Gorillas can be killed by a man off camera with a rifle if it gets out of hand (not a pleasant thought, but there could have been a rifleman there for all we know). Anti-venom for any particular snake can be ready before they even get near the snake. Paramedics can be standing by to treat electric shock from an eel. There are hundreds of controls that can be put into all these situations making them safer.
However, in the water, with 12 to 16 foot sharks, there's very little that can be done. A shot from a rifle won't even distract a shark that big. No divers are going to be in the water to assist (they'd be crazy to go down there). And even if you have expert lookouts and spotters on the boat watching for sharks, it's the ocean. They can attack from anywhere and there's no way to know how many there are. In fact, the white sharks off South Africa attack by rushing up from below. And once they grab you, that's it. You're not coming back.

Id have to say the silver back gorilla bit when the baby kept coming up to them and the lion hammock
