What's the problem with someone asking about similar shows? If you really like a show what better way to get turned on to a new show than by asking?

I checked your posting history. What? You get some kind of kick out of going on multiple Boards and asking about "similar shows"?

The OP does ask that question on a lot of boards but (s)he may be sincere in looking for similar movies (s)he likes a lot.

But then again, most like likely the OP just likes to start threads for the sake of getting folks to "talk" to him/her, a common trait of the cellar dwellers. We should take pity on them if that is the case and maybe give them a little Internet "love" or the next thing you may read on the news is some act of mass violence.

...And then it would all your fault!

Alcatraz is somewhat similar. Canceled after the first season though.

"Heroes" would be the most obvious one. The only differences is there isn't a Sylar -like character who steals other special people's powers.
And there's no alien-like abduction at the very start.

But there's a quite a number of similarities which plenty of users on here have pointed out on other threads.

Strangely enough, both The 4400 and Heroes lasted just 4 seasons before being cancelled!

It may be a stretch but Continuum (Netflix) has people from the future trying to change things although no special abilities like 4400 & Heroes. There is a supersoldier and a suit from the future that can do neat stuff. One of the better ongoing SCIFI shows.

I agree with "Continuum" - an EXCELLENT series!

Also, a new series, "The Tomorrow People" is much more like "The 4400". It's on it's 1st Season, 3rd Episode. Give it a watch.
