Has anyone read the books? *possible spoilers*

They were supposed to come out with I think 3 books that were going to conclude the story?

Did anyone read them? If so are they any good?

There were four books written. Two of them (Vesuvius Prophecy, and Wet Work) took place during the timeline of the show. If I remember correctly, Vesuvius Prophecy took place during Season 3, and Wet Work spanned Seasons 1 and 2.

The other two books (Welcome to Promise City, and Promises Broken) take place at the end of Season 4. They do a really good job of finishing up the show, although it's really annoying, because at the end, there are more unanswered questions. It does leave the story open for another book series.

Oh so the 2 Post-Series book ended it? Hmm...I was hoping that story about a 3rd and final book were true. That entry has been removed from Wiki since last year.

Still...the sinopsis' of both books sound really cool, I'm gonna pick them up soon. Thanx.

Like I said, storywise it's VERY VERY open for a sequel. On the other hand, on the business side, there's probably not much chance of a story.

I read 3 of the 4 (all but "Wet Works") and I thought they were pretty good. My favorite was actually the final book of the series Promises Broken. It's set after the end of the show (as is the book previous) and ends on a cliffhanger, which I've always been sorry never got to be resolved. But it's a good read, IMO.

The other two are fairly interesting too. I'd recommend them to any 4400 fan, especially the final 2 if you are interested in what happened after the series ended.

Sounds like it ought to be made into a comic book or graphic novel i.e.; like the TV series; "Jericho". Which had its Season 3 and Season 4 told in comic book form.

Much as reading a book is VERY important, something with a particular visual medium like a 'comic book' would attract folks who watched the series into picking something like this up and add something to the unmade fifth season that all us fans wanted but never got at the end of the day.
