Is it me or... ? I'm lost, I'm sure about that!

First, I think that Kyle is a little irritating and he gets easily on my nerves, I can't help it, but I need to know better. Kyle has some excuses, his relationship with his father is complicated and Tom is somehow responsible because he's not listening to him enough, he's distracted and forgets things.

BTW Kyle's abduction was more complex than some of the others' and his blackouts, his whole attitude are inexplicable (I'm only in season 2).
Will the character get easier with time, I don't know... but right now I can't understand him. His dad was allowed to be his guardian but he doesn't understand Kyle either, I would like to know Kyle and to understand what happened to him while he was abducted because it's (of course) the key.

Kyle is the most twisted character and if someone could help me know a little more about what's the matter with him.
For me, he has a part of him that is "bad" and another one that is "good", the two are struggling and at the same time Kyle finds himself thrown in situations he didn't ask for.
Am I right? What medication is he taking on a regular basis? Promicin or something like that? What is it for? and what's Kyle's "ability" useful for? It's not like Shawn who is a healer for example. So, is Kyle meant for something special, somewhat bigger, in the series, except being a suspect (for now) in Jordan Collier's murder?

Thank you for your answer!

PS: I like the series, it's original, fun, very different from what we use to have. I can watch the 4 seasons on Netflix and I plan to do so, I am just wondering about that Kyle character and what he's up to. Sorry, English is my third language, so, be nice :)

If you were on season two you would know Kyle was never abducted...

Yes, but he interfered with the "aliens" though.

Don't know how much you want to know, but I'm only starting Season Three so can't ruin too much, I guess!

We've now learned that someone or something was controlling Kyle during his blackouts. He does remember a murder he committed, and, rather than let another guy be framed - by Ryland - for it, confesses. Before he goes to jail, Shawn "cures" him; at least, as far as we know so far.

True, he wasn't one of the 4400, but was certainly "touched" and manipulated as were the others. Who knows what was done to him while in a coma?

Don't stress about the "What are the 4400?, Tom??" alternate reality episode; it's quickly explained and resolved.

Let me know if you have any specific questions. And your English is great!
