"Some of these never went up there with you."


When Jack and Ennis brought the sheep down, and the sheep were counted, Aguirre said "Some of these never went up there with you." What does he mean?

You're guess is as good as mine. More important question though..... Whatever happened to the proposed sequel, Brokeback 2: Cowgirls In Love?

It's because of the sheep getting mixed up with the other flock of sheep. Jack and Ennis ended up with sheep in their flock that did not belong to the rancher they were shepherding for.
