The incorporation of "The Best of Everything" (classic 1950's melodrama). First, we see Toni Collette watching it in her hotel room while on a business trip with Simon (Mark Fauerstein). Then, we hear the song from the film playing in the background at the old folks' home, when Simon is cajoled by Diaz to come back to his fiance.
