I wish Cameron did more films like this one!

You can see how good she is as an actress when she does something more them giggling and showing “that killer smile” of hers. She is so good and moving in "In her shoes". You can see that she's been working on her voice to make it sound more girlish and immature. You can actually see her with a straight face and sad eyes. You believe in her character and when she reads this poem for the first time you feel like crying, because suddenly you realize that she has to go through her life with the feeling of been a dumb useless person. So, what I want to say-Cameron blossoms when she does drama)))

I completely agree. To tell you the truth, before I saw this film, I couldn't stand Cameron Diaz. I thought of her as a bimbo who plays nothing but bimbos. I saw this only because I'm a fan of Curtis Hanson, Shirley MacLaine and Toni Collette, but it was Cameron's performance that truly moved me.

I wish Cameron would take more sophisticated roles like this rather than making superficial sex comedies. She's a talented actress who needs to do more than flashing her killer smile and shaking her tush.

I would have thought once she'd get older she might, but her last movie looks like just another superstupid comedy where she wastes her talent.

Indeed. It looks like she's back to making trash again after a brief respite. Does she not get any better offers, or is she just following the money?

I agree. She did very good in this movie. I really like her in My Sisters Keeper. Too bad she doesn't try to do more movies that show her talent.
