Please give me some movies that woman is older than man?

I think of only 'the rebound' do you have any others? thank you in advance.

Well, it depends on what you like. For example, The Piano Teacher is one with an older woman/younger man relationship, but it's pretty heavy drama. Of course you have the so-called "teen softcore" flicks, like Private Lessons and My Tutor. I Could Never Be Your Woman is one similar to this, with Michelle Pfeiffer and Paul Rudd. Of course there is The Graduate, and The Summer of '42, which are older classics. 40 Carats is from 1973 and very nice. A Tiger's Tale (1987) is good.

Then there is Bull Durham, with Kevin Costner. A very bittersweet one is The Door in the Floor, with Kim Basinger. I couldn't do a list without mentioning Sunset Boulevard. The Good Girl (with Jennifer Aniston) and The Pallbearer with David Schwimmer are of the same ilk (with the Pallbearer being much funnier). I loved P.S. with Laura Linney and the luminous Marcia Gay Harden. Stella Got Her Groove Back is a nice one, as is Chances Are (with Cybill Shepherd).

That should get you going.

Bladerunner• <=== Thank you so much, this is a very big and informative list! :) Normally I heard like Prime, Rebound, The Graduate. Actually I watched The Graduate, Stella got her groove back already... ahhhh thinking about this I remember that Diane Lane used to act on one movie as well, is it a walk on the moon? probably. Anyway Thanks again. ;)

A Walk on the Moon I didn't mention because Viggo is seven years older than Diane Laine and you wanted movies where the woman is older.

I am 49 so I tend to enjoy the opposite scenario, an older man with a younger woman; every older man's fantasy, which is why they make so many of them.

There are many more older women movies though, so if you run out just ask me and I'll toss up 5 or 10 more. One of my favorites is Cal with Helen Mirren and John Lynch. It's a very heavy, tragic drama, but very moving. The chemistry between Mirren and Lynch is at once awkward and electric.

Nicole Kidman did a very interesting and strange one called Birth where a woman believes her husband has been reincarnated as a 10-year-old boy. Since the ages are so disparate, there isn't anything sensual about it, but it's gripping and worth a watch if for nothing else the way the film captivates this woman's grief and unwillingness to deal with her loss.

Catherine Breillat did one called Brief Crossing which is touching but very explicit (she is known for that kind of thing).

I Could Never Be Your Woman with Michelle Pfeiffer and Paul Rudd is a Hollywood older woman/younger man film.

Sunset Blvd. is a classic, but there isn't much romance (if any at all) between the two principles.

The Last Picture Show features an older woman/younger man scenario.

Y tu mamá también (2001) is a very hot, very explicit, very excellent erotic adventure where an older woman leaves her husband after she finds out he cheated on her, and goes on a road trip with two younger men, exploring sexuality together. It features the luminous, multi-talented, multilingual Ana López Mercado and the steamy Gael García Bernal and Diego Luna.

Summer of '42 (1971) is one of my favs, touching and fine film based on the memoirs of screenwriter Herman Raucher.

Water for Elephants is a beautiful and glorious movie with Robert Pattinson from the Twilight movies and Reese Witherspoon, with Academy Award winner Christoph Waltz. Very, very good.

I have many more, but that should hold you over for a while.

The recent Australian movie Adore/Two mothers is a very good drama on this topic.

The Mother. Considerably older.

Ladies in Lavander, the tale and prologue of the Wife of Bath in The Canterbury Tales. There was also a telenovela called Pueblo chico, infierno grande, which is pretty good for any speakers of Spanish interested in this topic.
