What happened to the (state) Senator's son?
We only ever saw him once. I guess Brian the Mike guy was too "busy" with Pam to document his whereabouts.

Do they ever really introduce him as the senator's son? It's implied for sure because he's sitting with a young kid on the hay bale, but as far as I can remember there's no story line created for him. The writers probably just said "meh, people will assume that's his nephew or something" and didn't create any scenes for him.
shareHa! Had forgotten about him. Let's see, the senator said his wife had died. It's possible that was a euphemism for divorce (in order to get Angela's sympathy), in which case the boy could be living with his mother. (And if Angela asked about him later, he could say it was his nephew who was visiting from another state, which would "explain" why she never sees him again.)
Or right, could have actually been his nephew, or a neighbor's kid.
