When the southern troops are retreating from the Chinese and they kill the Northern POWs why does the younger brother get so upset saying you killed "insert name here" (Sorry im awful with names) yet you never learn this characters name? Did the older brother accidentally shoot the southern soldier who was being held at knife point? It all happened so quickly or was the younger brother some how friends with one of the POWs??? anyone know?
shareIt's been a while, but I'm pretty sure that POW was in the beginning of the movie before the war started. He was the younger brother's friend.
sharewhen the hero brother was chasing the Chinese Captain, to work towards his medal, there was a guy, Young-Man, who got shot and killed defending the hero brother. That is the man that the hero brother killed, according to the school brother. It was because of hero brother's quest to get the medal, which we find out later he HAD to do to save the school brother, that got a likeable, comic relief kind of guy killed.
