The book vs the film
First i saw the film and then i read the book
I noticed a few differences
1) Billy Bright has lost a hand and is an unemployed fascist, with no importance in the firm.
2) The book is much more darker, social realistic and nasty than the film.
3) The book gives a much more deep insight in the understanding of hooliganism.
4) Tommy Johnson, is the only drugdealer in the book.
5) A defense is put up for scousers, is it really true that the italians started with stabbing with knife(It wouldn´t surprise me, italians are well known to be cowards using knives.). But i also know that the scousers started the whole "casual" clothing style.
6) Still I think the film is good, it would have been at least 3 hours if it should have followed the book, but Nick Love made a great film.
