Why was Zeberdee shot?

Ok. Am clueless here. (Maybe it has got to with the accent.) Why was Zeberdee killed by that guy at the end?

He got killed because he robbed the drug dealers in the car.

It was actually the same kid he knocked out and robbed in the car on the estate.
