Deja Vu, anyone?

Now, first off don't get me wrong, I liked the movie, but I was gettin severe cases of Deja Vu the entire time. I really do NOT appreciate when they make the same movie twice. They try to play off the humor that everyone liked in the first one by doing the exact thing again. It was funny in the first one, but in the second one it was getting redundant and predictable. The funniest parts of the movie were the unique lines and situations that were NOT a play of the first movie. Anyone share my opinion?

I watched it today and felt the same way. The story was almost the same.

There was a job in the opening scene that went wrong: in the first movie, the guy was choking and she did the heimlich and everything went crazy and in the second one, the annoying lady recognized her in the bank.

Then there's the scene where she's at home all alone cooking her food in that damn microwave.

Then they send her for another job and she screws it up so she's told she's off the case but she doesn't give up and still wants to do it. There's a guy who thinks this is not a good idea and wants her to get off the case, but near the end, he changes his mind (Benjamin Bratt and in MC2, the guy with the ex girlfriend.)

There's so many things that were similar to the first one. I did, however, enjoy this movie.
