One thing I admired about the film...

I thought this movie was funny, and I'm a big fan of Sandra Bullock. One of the things that I thought was really cool about it was that instead of like in The Faculty and The Incredibles, the little girl who was 'different' and with her hair in her face was actually allowed to be herself in the end. Instead of having her wear pink with her hair away from her face, like what happened in both films mentioned, she was herself. And the point that I loved is that Gracie wanted her to be herself. It was actually encouraged. And I think thats great.

Me too.

"Sandra Bullock doesn't come across as a big star. That may be the main reason she is one."

whoa that's true.
aw, yeah, i did like that.

I enjoyed the whole subplot with Priscilla also and I was glad when Gracie loosened Priscilla's hair again so it was back in her face the way she liked it. It seemed so hypocritical of Gracie, who prior to the first movie, had never ever encountered a hair product, to be telling this little girl to wear her hair off her face.

Yeah, although for me, it was sad to see Gracie shed the image really quickly cause I'm the sort of girl who loves that kind of barbie girl look, but I understood that it would be a perfect ending for Gracie to just go back to normal.

Neither do I

For Gracie to continue with that Barbie look would have been completely out of character.

I liked how at the end when Gracie came into the classroom she was herself like she was before the pageants. At the book signing she was a stuck up bitch! But one thing i have to say Priscilla(sp?) looked much better with her hair up out of hair face .
