Regina King is so annoying.

she ruined the movie. it should be a movie about Sandra, not double team.

I don't think it was Regina King's fault. It was the character she was playing that's the problem. She was the type of character that I'd gladly punch in the face. She was annoying for no reason at all, at least in the beginning of the movie. I get that she had anger issues, but what did she exactly have against Gracie? I also hated that McDonald kept giving her "a second chance." McDonald saw how she treated Gracie in the gym, she refused orders just because she couldn't stand a co-worker, she unprofessional at all counts. I hated the character, and the movie was unbearable to watch because of her. I also hated how they inserted another "race" issue in the movie: sister, skinny white girl, and whatever. She was an unnecessary character that was created specifically for this movie. There are many ways the character could've worked, but it's apparent the writer was being lazy.

do you mean when she bumped gracie and then gracie tried to start a fight with her in front of her boss? is that what you mean cause i#m confused.

"sir, sir, i gotta check and see if you've soiled yourself, I'll get to you in a moment, sir!"

Well, let's be honest, she "bumped" Gracie deliberately because she was looking for a fight. She got one. Gracie had every right to demand a sincere apology and then kick Fuller's skinny, short, black a$$ when she rudely refused to give one. Oh, and I bet a gazillion people start crying racism because I said Fuller had a "skinny, short, black a$$" but there probably isn't a single complaint on this board about Regina King's character being racist for all the "white girl" cracks she made in this movie... you know, like there would be if it was reversed and there had been a bunch of "black girl" cracks in the movie instead. Double standards and hypocrites really pi$$ me off. And by the way, on a personal note, I did not find Regina King's character annoying, I liked her and thought she was funny. And both she and Gracie had great character growth over the course of the movie as we learned about their backgrounds and they grew to be friends. That's what character arcs are all about and this movie did it well.

No. Her character is annoying. Also, a movie can be about anything the writer wants it to focus on. This movie was about Gracie, Sandra's character. The fact that her character was partnered up with Regina King's character doesn't change the fact that the movie is still about Gracie Hart.
