so is this film anti-hooliganism
I've never understand hooligans.
the fact that is just a bunch of mongs fighting over a sport just makes me mad.
that's one of the biggest reasons why couldn't really get into sport.

I think that it tries too show all sides of what goes on with the hooligan element of the supporters, while not glorifying it as it does show the negative side of what this life style can lead too.
Never understood hooligans myself either I guess its a clan mentality and a primal instinct I don't believe it is really sport related at all other the fact that they are very convenient by their nature in making it easy to gather together and meet an opposing gang
To make a great film you need three things - the script, the script and the script -Alfred Hitchcock

the fact that is just a bunch of mongs fighting over a sport just makes me mad. They're rival gangs engaging in violence because of any number of anti-social reasons, football is merely the channel or forum through which they express their violence, frustration or whatever. It has nothing to do with sport.
Exactly Mikey - football is just an excuse for a fight.. It's the same with the EDL and Britain First, they just want a fight and will find any excuse. So long as they're only fighting amongst themselves and not harming anyone else, I say leave them to it
shareCompletely agree. We used to get the odd scuffle in my local and we would just toss them out so they could murder each other on the street if that was what they wanted to do.
I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time Del Boy, it's them that started me drinking!
