great physical comedy! favorite gag?

what was everyone's favorite physical comedy gag in this movie? my personal favorite was when clouseau was at the soccer training place and a soccer ball rolled up to him. he just kind of looks at it, then kicks it and it bounces off of a goal and hits him square in the head. the way they cut to the next scene right after he falls down is brilliant as well!

what are your favorites?

I can tell you what was the worst. The fart in the noise-proof recording cabin.

First of, the use of that cabin made no sense when Xania (Beyoncé) was recording in front of a live orchestra. Secondly, not even Clouseau would risk his chances with foxy Xania by cutting the cheese in her cabin. Thirdly, if Xania was recording in that cabin, her voice wouldn't have been piped to the main hall where the orchestra was playing.

What happens with farts? you can hardly see a film where there are no loud farts! can't they find something better?

Steve Martin completely ripped off Peter Sellers-
This movie sucks!

reply

Steve Martin is so much funnier than Peter Sellers!!

Peter Sellers isn't even worthy of licking Steve Martins toes!

You mean Peter Sellers......
the brilliant actor who played
three un-forgettable characters in
Dr. StrangeLove?

Are you talking about Peter Sellers,
who could sink himself into any character
that he wanted to play?

You mean Peter Sellers-
who has influenced so many actors
and comedians that came after him-
including Robin Williams, Mike Myers and Steve Martin?

I don't think you're talking about
the legendary Peter Sellers.....
because only a complete idiot would say
what you just said.

Obviously you haven't even watched
any of Peter Sellers' movies.

Besides mentioned, I liked the part near the end where he was pretending to be a back-up dancer.

The line "Do you ever get lonely?"
"No,
not since the internet"

in those ridiculous accents...

is also golden for some reason....

Haha, mine are

after Nicole measures him for the new clothes, and he is looking at that globe, and then it just like, rolls off and down the stairs out into the street and all those bikers crash into eachother, and you hear people screaming.... haha

When they find out that Bizu is dead, so they go to investigate in the locker room, and closeau is like.. "Isn't incredible that the body fell perfectly align with the chalk drawing." (or something like that) Then Ponton says "I think they drew the outline after."

The random attacks from Closeau to Ponton.

Ponton: "He was just found dead in the locker room." (talking about Bizu)
Closeau: "Was it fatal?"
Ponton: "Yes."
Closeau: "How Fatal?"
Ponton: "Completely."
Closeau: "I want to talk to him now!!"
Ponton: "He is dead."

When Closeau tries to interegate Bizu, and he like... shocks his.. "area" and he screams, then he walks out and his crotch is smoking... haha

The hamburger scene.

Clouseau: "Do not leave Europe!"
Yuri: "But we have matches in Asia."
Clouseau: "All right. Do not leave Europe or Asia!"
Yuri: "And we also have a match in Brazil."
Clouseau: "Do not leave Europe, Asia, or the Americas!"
Yuri: ".....k..."

At the end when Kline's character goes out the window into the river and Closeau says "Ohh, that breeze feels good." lol

The movie was great. By the way - original Pink Panthers with Peter Sellers were similar (in all regards - type of gags, acting etc.) and some were pretty bad.
