As much as I normally like Steve Martin, this movie is AWFUL! (as is it's sequel). No-one but NO-ONE can portray Clouseau other than the great Peter Sellers. Remakes of Mr. Sellers Pink Panther movies are pointless and are a disgrace.

Because, as I said, I usually enjoy Steve Martin movies. That's the only reason I watched the first one. Pink Panther 2? Again, because I like Steve Martin and I hoped that the second one would be better than the first. It wasn't.
