By end of the movie Wade and Evans are true friends, very touching!

Absolutely. And that's why I loved it. Ben Wade realizes that Dan was a good and decent man, and he respects him. When he is murdered by Wade's gang, you can see Wade's grief that he has caused this good man's death. Probably the only man Ben Wade has ever truly respected has just been shot dead in front of him.
shareI felt almost as bad for Ben as I did for Dan's son when he got killed. I mean, it's not like Ben and Dan were going to get together in later years and talk about the good old days, but something about Dan did touch Ben's heart. I often wonder what Ben went to to do-if he reformed because of Dan. There was something very special about their friendship-a true Damon and Pythias quality. It's what made the movie so great to me.
