why didn't they just shoot the driver of the train??

at the end.. y didn't ben wade's men just shoot or capture the man driving the freakin train... then they could've taken it easy coz the train wasn't goin anywhere.. and then take as much time as u want to release Ben..

Did i miss something or does this actually makes sense.???

Ben's gang was stupid and they couldn't think that rationally.

yeah, why can't they just sabotage the railroad ?

Why can't the rest of the gang member just shoot charlie and take the money and be done with it ?
