Did anyone else feel that he did really bad in this movie?
Every line of his seemed pushed and awkward. His faces and actions seemed overly exaggerated.
At first I thought maybe it was the feel of the film somehow that had him acting this way, but no one else seemed to be that forced.

wasnt that the point? he played an awkward guy who was interested in his teenage students. personally i thought he played the part very well.
I didn't buy him as a teacher, which surprised me since he's usually such a great actor.
shareOh, I thought everyone in this movie was like that. I was embarrassed for all of them. That's who they were, though. I mean, one of the biggest laughs it got from me was after the painfully awkward conversation between Livingston and his wife, he mentions that she is, after all, his wife. I was like oh man, how did they ever survive dating if this is what marriage is like for them?
