Speak up Radha, speak clearly Kimberly
This film,in my esteemed opinion as an ardent filmbuff, is excellent. This estimation, mind, is based soley on Evan Rachel Wood's performance.
Kimberly joyce is just like my ex girlfriend, a manipulative self-absorbed nymphet. Which is why, I both loved and hate it. Evan Rachel's performance holds up as one of the all time great "viper to my bosom" roles, surpassing even Pamela Franklin's 'Sandy' from Ronald Neames's 1968 classic; The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie. Dwarfing even similar films like Election, To die For, inter alia. I was in a word, mesmerised. But, and this an important 'But', the film is carelessly structured, the narrative is a little confused, and most annoyingly, Kim slurs her words, and Randha did not get enough lines to really matter. Anyone agree or disagree?
