Serenity makes a guest appearance in Spielberg’s ‘Ready Player One’ movie. SPOILERS

Maybe it’s common knowledge but after watching the movie ‘Ready Player One’ for the 3rd time last night I realised that Serenity makes a cameo in the big battle scene towards the end of the movie. The character Daito arrives in her and you can see him jump out of her cargo-hold to do battle with Mechagodzila.

It is such a pleasure to see her in a movie that is chock-a-block filled with pop culture references, especially given that most of them of them are 80’s ones.

It made my heart sing when I realised it was her.

Nice work Spielberg!

Um, I'm sorry R_Kane, I don't mean to be ignorant but to whom are you referring to? The character called Daito- because that is the only masculine pronoun I used in my comment.
I'm fairly certain Daito was a male gendered character and was played by male actor Win Morisaki.
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong as no offence was intended.
