Did Adam Baldwin and Sean Maher get along?

Seeing how Sean is gay and Adam is a raging homophobe, one might get the idea there was a little friction from time to time...

Yes, they get along. I think you're problem is not recognizing the difference between sincere political beliefs (which is what Adam has) and homophobia (which is something altogether different.

reply

There might be some misunderstanding - you might be thinking of Stephen Baldwin (Alec Baldwin's brother). Stephen has made comments negativetly about gay people.

Adam is not related to the Baldwin brothers and I don't know his views on gay people. From what he does, he seem quite liberal.

reply

Adam Baldwin is not a Baldwin? Really?

reply

Adam is the rare showbiz Baldwin that is not actually a Baldwin.

He's a Fauxwin.

You are correct that Adam isn't Stephen, but on this topic they agree.

But Adam Baldwin is totally related to James Baldwin, right? RIGHT??? Oops, James Baldwin was also gay. So much for that.

reply

From what he does, he seem quite liberal.

Adam Baldwin is openly and quite well known as a conservative.
As much so as Clint Eastwood, James Woods, Gary Sinise, Bruce Willis, and many others.

He's as Conservative as Nathan Fillion is Liberal.

Fillion is a talented actor and I love his work as Malcolm Reynolds and Castle. But politically he is a moron.

Are conservatives allowed to not be homophobes?

reply

So a raging homophobe is quite happy playing a guy named Jayne? I doubt it somehow.

reply

Better Jayne than Sue.

John Wayne's name was Marion.

reply

Your post makes zero sense.

Was oblivious to this and was not visible in show which is great because ruffled feathers might have spoilt the ambience the whole cast purveyed on screen ( and equal praise to the talented behind the camera crew team too). I suppose Adam might have occasionally be miffed whe, from time to time, they walked amongst a tirade of fans together Sean wud get the heads turning from both sexes.... but no fret Adam.... u still get the 'admiration boost'.....off guys who wanna 'be like you' as opposed to 'liking you' ;->

Ridiculous. Most people have varying ideas about what is right and wrong to some degree without personally treating one person they know any different than the next. SJWs have your mind all humped.

From the first time I saw the movie, I got the feeling that Book was a former Operative. So my question is: if Book was a former Operative, how did he get away from the Alliance? I don't think that this is a job that one could retire from.

I am a Vulcan. We embrace technicalities.

reply

he probly had a load of dirty secrets about the alliance that would be released if they didnt let him retire, or he died.

reply

It's explored in one of the Serenity comics, "The Shepherd's Tale."
