and I was suprised that it didn't come with any inserts. All the DVD's I have come with a mini booklet or production notes.
So I wondering if anyone else owns the DVD that came with inserts.

Mine didn't either, but I sure don't mind the treeless dvds - particularly if it means enriched digital content !

I like having at least a sheet that outlines the chapters in the film, which makes skipping chapters much easier. I don't like it when a DVD has nothing in the box.
However, I have a DVD of Coffee and Cigarettes that did have an insert, there was a very short booklet. The front cover was the same as the DVD, the inside was a short piece of writing about the film and the back has chapter names. I think it might be because it is the Region 2 version.
