shareThanks, I came to this board specifically to see if anyone could shed light on that particular claim. I had never heard the allegation until seeing Coffee and Cigarettes, and I was curious about it. Good to know it's not true.

shareI'm not much of an elvis fan, and prefer listening to the various artists that he himself covered, but the part about what he supposedly said about 'coloured' people I personally find to be a stupid rumor made up for some unknown reason. I don't believe it at all.
