worst actress ever

i thought the movie was great except for the fact that meg white did the worst acting job i think i've ever seen

reply

I don't think Meg White was bad. She's just acting in her own way, very naturally. She is just who she is and that's what she plays.

reply

I think Meg white was shown Down by law and asked to act like Tom Waits when he was drunk in the beginning, The proof is in the pose. Check it.

reply

she was absolutely abysmal, she totally pulled me out of any involvement i had with the film. i almost feel bad for her, i'd be beyond humiliated if i gave a performance half as bad. i know jarmusch likes casting musicians but i'd have been happier to watch an organ-grinder's monkey in her role.

excuse me, i'm blowing your mind.

reply

Thats funkin funny man

reply

It was bad, yes. But I've seen worse actresses in say... porn movies.

reply

That probably would have been more effective if you said "I've seen better actresses in say... porn movies."

reply

I didn't think Meg's part was that badly acted, a little wooden maybe but not abysmal. Then again, I've only watched that clip of the whole film.

reply

Honestly, neither of them were good, but I think Meg was actually a little better than Jack. Anyways I liked the skit, and thought Meg was interesting.

reply

It seemed to me that Meg and Jack's acting, or lack thereof, added to the all together childeshness of the vignette. It seemed very juvenile, sort of like children playing with toys. I suppose that the wagon added to that, and the begining of the vignette where both sit in silence because meg didn't want to hear about Jack's Tesla coilmade it seem all the more childish. I loved this film, and this segment especially made me laugh.

But hey, that's just my opinion.

Vin Diesel Says:
It's only domestic violence if you hit her at home.

reply

Didn't bother me, though personally I found Jack a lot better. Which could be because he had more lines than her sister.

I think Lemonfreezey gets it...

"Always look on the bright side of life. Do do. Do do do do do do."

reply

Ummm, she wasn't really acting. Okay maybe technically, but she was acting as herself. In interviews she seems a little dry or wooden, so she did a good job portraying herself. That scene was one of my favorites.

reply

Exactly! That's what I think.

reply

Finally, someone gets it!!

reply

Meg White isn't an actor, that's why. She was just Meg...the segment didn't need anymore then that.

You guys don't get all humor. I guess you all will later say Andy Kaufman was a bad stand up comedian.

reply

I'm not too worried about the acting, it's the very strange looks they give each other over the table, no wonder people get confused as to wheather they're siblings or lovers.
